Around midnight of May 26, 1595, Philip suffered from a hemorrhage and passed away at 80-years-old. Click below to see our archive of Drops. After overcoming his reluctance, and in obedience to his confessor, Philip was ordained to holy orders at the late age of thirty-six. He loved to share the Gospel and help people to find or rediscover their faith in Jesus Christ. He adopted them as his spiritual children and invited them in small groups to his residence in order to continue guiding them to a holier way of life.
